XLPE Insulated steel tape armoured PVC Sheathed Power Cable YJV
Applications
YJV cables are widely used in power transmission and distribution systems in urban power grids, industrial and mining enterprises, buildings and other places. Due to its superior performance, YJV cables are particularly suitable for the following occasions:
- Fixed installation: such as underground direct burial, cable trenches, tunnels, etc.
- Indoor and outdoor installation: Suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, especially in situations where long-term stable operation is required.
- High-load scenarios: such as large industrial equipment, high-rise buildings and other places that require high-load power transmission.
Features
- High heat resistance: The cross-linked polyethylene insulation layer of YJV cables enables them to operate for a long time at the rated temperature of 90°C, and the temperature resistance during short circuits can reach 250°C.
- Electrical performance: XLPE insulating material features a low dielectric constant and low dielectric loss, effectively reducing power loss
- High mechanical strength: The PVC sheath has excellent tensile, compressive and impact resistance, which can protect the cable from external mechanical damage
- Environmental resistance: YJV cables have excellent resistance to chemical corrosion, oil, water and ultraviolet rays, making them suitable for various complex environments.
Construction
Conductor |
Conductors are usually made of copper, which has good electrical conductivity. |
Insulation |
The insulation layer is made of cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), which has excellent heat resistance, aging resistance and electrical insulation performance, and can work stably for a long time at relatively high temperatures. |
Sheath |
The sheath layer is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), providing mechanical protection and corrosion resistance. |
