CY screened flexible connecting cables are ideal for instrumentation and control equipment, tooling machinery, and flexible applications requiring free movement without tensile load. They are suitable for use in dry and moist rooms but not for outdoor or underground installation
Featuring copper braided screening, CY cables provide protection against electrical interference, ensuring a high degree of circuit integrity. They are suitable for low or medium voltage installations where interference can disrupt accurate signal transmission.
These cables are designed to connect equipment in production and assembly lines, both fixed and mobile, including air conditioning systems. However, they are not suitable for direct connection to the public mains supply. CY cables serve as data and control cables in machinery, computer systems, and as signal cables for electronics.
Construction
CY PVC and CY LSZH cables are used in control equipment for assembly and production lines, conveyors, and computer units. They are installed as interconnecting cables for measurement, control or regulation.
They are typically used in applications requiring interference-free transmission due to their multi-core flex, tinned copper wire braid (TCWB), and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) separator, which protect it from external electromagnetic influences which could degrade accurate signal transmission. The CY cable's TCWB and PET also provide protection against light mechanical stress.
These cables are suitable for flexible use when temporarily moved without tensile stress. CY cables can be used outdoors when protected against direct sunlight, and in dry or moist conditions (including oil-water mixtures) indoors.
